The Margarita Officials Association (MOA) celebrated it's 50th anniversary in 2018. The MOA was founded in June of 1968 to provide umpires for the growing game of softball in North San Diego County. As the sport rapidly expanded, and following passage of Title IX, the need for qualified officials increased. The MOA provides umpires for most levels of softball, including High School and USA Softball.
